When our family and I were planning a little party picnic, our teenagers said all of us should rent a venue to savor our food.
I told them that was no way to have a picnic, you had to be outside in the good outdoors and have fresh air! The sun was unbelievable for you and who ever heard of having a picnic indoors? Well, when all of us finally went for our picnic, it was a scorching warm day and there was no a/c to speak of outside of course.
It was so warm that nobody easily wanted to eat much food, all of us were just drinking a bunch of drinks. We had coolers, but the ice melted relatively fast since it was so blazing hot, then one of our teenagers ended up going to the store and picked up a few outdoor a/c units. These things were pretty interesting, you just added water and they would do their thing when you turned them on. It was nothing savor official air conditioning but it was a lot better than having nothing! We all were swarming around the portable a/c units and were legitimately thinking about picking up a few more so all of us could legitimately savor the rest of our picnic. The next time all of us plan this kind of thing, I assume I will follow our children’s’ advice and just rent a venue that legitimately has weather conditions control. It easily is hard to savor the experience when it’s way too hot outside. I don’t suppose if global warming is to blame or what, but it seems savor it’s so much hotter outdoors than it was when I was a young kid.
