Things to consider when choosing an HVAC provider

If you’re the way I used to be, you probably don’t worry too much about brand loyalty or customer service.

Sure, you might want to be treated politely and pay for a good product but it comes down to what I need and for what price.

I was like this all through my 20’s and about halfway through my 30’s. Then something changed and I became that old person rambling on about “brand loyalty” and “I know him, he does good work”. It really started with my HVAC system. I only ever called an HVAC provider when something in the HVAC system was broken, then never thought about them again until something else in the HVAC system was broken. Sound like you? Well, I want to give you some advice; start caring about that customer service now, especially with your HVAC provider. You don’t want to work with an HVAC provider who is not going to care about one of the most expensive parts of your home. A few things to look for in a reliable HVAC provider is whether or not they offer HVAC care plans. These HVAC care plans will include things like ductwork cleaning, ductwork sealing, regularly HVAC servicing, quality guarantees, etc. If you’re working with an HVAC provider who does not believe in their own work, why should you be expected to believe in their work? It just shows a level of trustworthiness on their part. I’ve been burned by some unreliable HVAC providers that lacked this type of dependability and let me tell you I paid the price. You’re not saving yourself any money if you have to pay twice for your HVAC system servicing.
