I woke up this morning and realized that my head was a mess.
I have been doing everything I can to stay on top of all of my tasks and responsibilities in life lately…
But there is way too much going on in my personal world. I have recently gone through a breakup, a tumultuous friendship, and a family loss. Now, we are busily trying to figure out how to divvy up the estate of my family member as we also contend with family pressures and legality issues. Of course, none of us know what we’re doing so it is even more complicated. On top of that, it doesn’t help that half of the estate is located in a different location. We have been making trips back and forth in the name of this business. The trips couldn’t be more stressful, including last time when we lost heat. Here we were, in an unfamiliar home trying to figure out how the thermostat worked and having no luck. It seems like the indoor air handling devices just didn’t want to listen to the central air temperature control system. No matter what we did with the thermostat it seemed like the forced air furnace and air conditioning unit were not responding. There was no high-quality treated air coming through the air vents. It took an embarrassingly long time for us to figure out that the forced air furnace was not working at all. Clearly, something was wrong with the heating Implement in this house. There is no way we could sort through important paperwork and belongings without any heat pumping through the duct work. Eventually, we had to pay for a professional HVAC appointment before we could even get started with our other stressful tasks. It has been a time.
