Treasure hidden behind electric radiators

I can honestly admit that I am a bit of a snooper.

I try not to get into other people’s business as much as possible, but I am also so interested in the secret inner workings of everyone’s mind.

It’s difficult not to try to investigate how other humans actually live when they are not in the public eye. This is something that I think about often and I will sadly confess that sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me. I will try to go through someone’s journal or notebook if I find it. This is how I recently wound up accidentally uncovering some family treasure that was hidden in a very unlikely place. If you have ever lived in an older home, you might be familiar with ancient radiator systems for heat. The outdated heating mechanism uses individual radiators placed throughout each room to provide warm air directly to each individual space. They’re kind of cool, but the radiators are also rather bulky and unattractive at times. I think that my family enjoyed the individual radiator heating system because you can set individual temperature control plans in each individual space. This is helpful when you have a large family with different temperature preferences and sarcastic mouths. They also apparently loved the radiators because they provide a convenient hiding place. The other day as I was innocently snooping I happened to find a loose heating radiator. When I pulled it away from the wall, I found a real hot commodity… A few thousand dollars worth of gold and silver. I guess it’s a good thing that I snoop.
