I got a household from labor last week, and I knew something looked unusual in the backyard.

I walked inside and grabbed the flashlight from the junk drawer and went back outside. My fiance must have seen the light flashing in through the windows and thought there was a prowler. Before I eventually knew what was happening, he was inside yelling and saying he had called the police. I screamed back that it was me. She turned on the porch light and asked why I was outside prowling around and shining the flashlight in the windows. I told him something looked off, and I was right. The air conditioning unit was gone. She asked what I meant. The AC unit was actually gone? I told him what I actually meant. The air conditioning unit was gone. I wanted to know if he had heard anyone outside, or noticed anything amiss when he got home from work. She hadn’t seen or heard anything, however he was taking a shower. Five minutes later, the police showed up and asked what was wrong. Before I knew what was happening, the police were doing a report on the stolen air conditioning unit. I told them I didn’t want to report anything until I talked to the HVAC business, and I would not do that until the day.
