What is the safest method of heating a house

Once my furnace stopped working in my house, I didn’t sweat it.

I knew that I didn’t need to call an HVAC technician.

My furnace was nearly 30 years old, and it would cost me a fortune at this point to keep this old HVAC beast running for the next several decades. Instead, I decided to take the entire summer to try to decide what kind of heating system we wanted to install in our house. We live in a small trailer, and we figured that we could get away with not using a furnace if we could find another method of heat. However, I wanted a heating system that was going to be safe for our continual use. My wife suggested that we purchase a few electrical space heaters to heat our home, but that was definitely not going to happen. These space heaters were never designed to heat your home while you were away, and they cannot be left unattended. These space heaters present a huge fire hazard that you don’t want. That actually goes for all space heaters, no matter what type of fuel they use. We also considered using a wood stove or fireplace, but we also realized that these flames present danger of either going out or causing a fire when you aren’t there. This left us with traditional forms of heating, including furnaces, boilers, and radiator heaters. Boilers don’t work as well when it gets below freezing, and radiator heaters tend to be more expensive than the other heaters. I guess we are going to end up purchasing another furnace after all.
