Working out at two different locations

The soccer field offers an ideal spot with a wide open area and lots of smooth pavement

My husband and I have two houses, with one located in the northern part of the country and the other down south. We enjoy the best of the weather in both areas. We stay in our northern home from May to October, and then transfer south as the temperature begins to cool off. Because of living in two separate places, I’ve needed to purchase doubles of a lot of things. I don’t want to carry a bunch of possessions back and forth. I have a complete set of pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware at each house. I have gardening tools, towels, personal hygiene products and even a vehicle for both residences. Because physical fitness is a daily priority in my life, I’ve purchased doubles of a lot of my workout gear. I have plenty of workout shorts and shirts available, no matter where I happen to be. I have two yoga mats, two sets of dumbbells and two jump ropes. However, I carry my workout sneakers and a cordless speaker for my music back and forth with me. I have issues with plantar fasciitis and special inserts for my shoes to support my arches. I leave these inserts right in the sneakers and make sure I always have them with me. Up north, I have the access to a stationary bike and my back deck offers plenty of space for my workout. Down south, I ride an actual bike and take advantage of a bike path that leads to a soccer field. The soccer field offers an ideal spot with a wide open area and lots of smooth pavement. Both locations offer different benefits and help to keep my workouts more interesting and fresh.
