Adjusting the temps for our cat Mittens

I am a pet Dad and feel totally rad about our fuzzy prince, she is so spoiled.

She has a homemade scratching post that I keep updated with cardboard.

I have a special pet lounger that makes it very straightforward for him to laze away and scratch. She has special hypoallergenic litter, the highest quality pet food and purified water. My sweet prince also gets 12 treats a day. She is so extremely spoiled. I always keep an eye on the temperature in the household as well. I don’t want our awful baby to get too warm or too cold. I live in the south so it is hotter than cold. My pet is a savage and she enjoys sitting outdoors all day long. In the summer time I have to lure him into the apartment with yummy treats and cool him down. She gets so warm that she flops down with her white tummy exposed to the AC vent. I then try to encourage him to drink water. I can’t seem to get him to nap in the air conditioner flow. She will only tolerate brief AC breaks. In the wintertime she is much better about staying indoors… Cats should only be exposed to hot and cold temperatures around forty degrees, no lower, and when it starts getting cold our pet gets a little nuts. I have an outdoor chair with a small heating pad that I keep for him. Mostly I try to keep him inside with our oil furnace set to sixty five degrees. I got her pet bed all warm and soft for him. I want him to be safe from the cold and very comfortable.
