Okay, I am sure that many of you will agree with me when I say that older people can seem a bit nuts.
They not only tend to live in the past but some of the ideas that they come up with are honestly off the charts.
My Grandma is no different. I will never forget the time that she decided to use contact paper on the lavatory floor, she was really proud of herself when she told me that she had installed current flooring in the lavatory. Well, when I went in to check it out I realized what she had done and I had to laugh. Occasionally, when you have to wait out the fact that their plan is not the best it can be a bit awkward. This was the case when our spouse went to visit our Grandma and check on her a single day last summer, then when she arrived she found our Grandma is standing in the residing room in her chair with her feet in a bin of ice water. She did not know that this was quite healthy for her so she called me to ask what she should do. First thing I proposed him to do was ask her why she was standing like that and she stated that it was too sizzling in her house so she was trying to cool off. She recalled doing this when she was a child so she figured it would toil superb now as well. The concern came when she tried to explain that it was dangerous for her circulation. I suggested that she go to the store and purchase a small personal cooling device for her instead. So far she seems enthusiastic with it and I hope she doesn’t use the bin of ice anymore.
