I could not work at all if I wanted to as I have a chunk of money in savings, but like I said I enjoy working a little bit each week
My cats have a great life, most of it spent sleeping on my drums in my office and living room. I was thinking when I die I want to come back as a dolphin, but that seems like a lot of work with the swimming and all, so now I am changing it to a cat as they seem to have the best life of all. I’ve been simplifying my life for the past 15 years and am down to about the bare minimum. I can live on $1000 a month here on the Spanish coast, working as an HVAC tech part time to earn money. I also am going to teach some yoga this fall and winter and maybe even get a class going with several students, we shall see. I live with one other person, an HVAC rep at the store where I work, and we only see each other a few minutes a day as he works a lot on the road. I like living a simple life like this and also like to work part time as it gives me a sense of purpose. I think working at the HVAC business 15 hours a week is doable till I am in my 70’s or even longer as it is an easy job and I like working with the other HVAC experts. It’s a good life living simply.
