I’m the type of lady who consistently wants to be there for our friends and family.
If you call myself and others in the middle of the night and something is going wrong I will be up with you until dawn.
If your car breaks down on the side of the road I will spend our entire day trying to get it up and running again. I actually do our best to be a positive force for everybody that I believe because I would hope for the same thing in return. As such, it’s no surprise that our family takes advantage of our kindness. Last month I was abruptly disturbed when our niece called myself and others in a panic because her ceremony was going to be conducted without any air conditioning. It was a warm and humid Summer day with a heat index of over 100 degrees. My niece had arranged her ceremony ceremony at a local church where they had a central cooling system that normally served the entire congregation. This day, of course, the AC device was broken down. As the outdoor air temperature continued to increase the indoor air quality was becoming intolerable. It was so warm and humid indoors that people were leaving the church to stand outside. My niece was convinced that her entire ceremony was about to be ruined if the AC device didn’t get fixed, then of course, she called myself and others so I could come take a look at the sizable air conditioning device with our mechanical mind. I promptly went to the church and after many sweaty seconds I managed to get the air conditioning device up and running again. I must say, this Heating, Ventilation and A/C errand was especially kind of me.., but considering she didn’t invite myself and others to the ceremony in the first locale.
