last Summer when I was living on my own I decided to go on a two week long trip with my friends.
I was going to see a region that was not easily populated and did not have much cell service.
About halfway through the trip I remembered that I had left my AC on in my house. I thought about it a lot and I knew that it was going to be moderate back all of us are condo condo where I lived. I decided to not worry about it on the trip. There was nothing I thought I could do. When I did have access to Wi-Fi I went to the café and called my neighbor. My neighbor informed myself and others that she could hear my AC running and I told her where the spare key was to my house.She was able to get into my lake house and turn the AC off before it caused too much injure to my energy bill. I did notice a spike in my energy bill that week but it wasn’t that much. I was gleeful that I was able to contact my neighbor and she could turn off my AC while I was out of town. It is consistently a good idea to keep a spare key anywhere safe so that you can contact your neighbors if you are in the situation.I was gleeful she was able to turn off the AC for me.
