Life can take you in some pretty peculiar instruction at times.
We were visiting my mother-in-law a single weekend, when she took myself and others to her living room.
She told myself and others she had something to deliver to me. She had a box full of picture of my fiance when he was growing up, & she asked myself and others if I wanted them. I found all kinds of peculiar things tucked in with the pictures. She had saved his diploma from school. She had framed his certificate from college when he made the dean’s list & a framed certificate of his president’s list certificate. I looked at his picture as he held up the certificate & I had to laugh. My fiance had hair that was longer than our daughter’s & he had a fu manchu. It was so funny to see how much he had changed. She told myself and others she was surprised he even graduated, let alone acquired so many accolades. My fiance was sitting in the living room, playing with our daughter. He was the owner of a Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company & a single of the top Heating, Ventilation, & A/C corporations in our state. To see him sitting there, playing with our daughter, & picturing him in his Heating, Ventilation, & A/C uniform, was love seeing three odd people. His mom told myself and others she is proud of the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C corporation, father & fiance he has become. I’m also proud of the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C corporation, father & fiance, however mostly I am most proud of being the partner of the Man he has become. I just hope no a single tells him that, or his head will never get through the door.
