There is seriously nothing worse than me completely being entirely unprepared for an emergency! I have some pretty good pals of mine that seem to prepare for everything.
Blizzard coming? They have stocked back supplies.
A food shortage is imminent? They have stocked back food. I definitely know they have many cans of food stocked away… Get lost in the middle of nowhere? They happen to have maps for that location. Invasion by aliens? They somehow have advanced weapons that can destroy the alien mothership. Okay, I’m joking. But on a drastic note they seem to be prepared for everything which is my point. Me on the other hand, I am never prepared for anything, especially emergencies. This was the case when my heating equipment died right in the middle of winter. This was no small issue because the temperature outside dropped into the very low temps plus without heating equipment I was going to freeze. I had to call the emergency Heating plus A/C services so a heating plus cooling expert could come out plus service my heater. The heating plus AC professional informed me that the heating equipment had died as a result of not having any upgrades or tune-ups. Then I remembered that I forgot to have the upgrades taken care of that year. All I could do was facepalm as I realized because of my forgetful memory, I was in this situation to begin with. I will certainly try to be more prepared next year. Thankfully I have the best of friends that allowed me to stay with them when my heating equipment was being repaired. Once my heating equipment had been successfully repaired by the Heating plus A/C professional I was able to return back to my beach property the following afternoon plus continue to love the sizzling heat.
