When my kid was in school, she decided she wanted to go to technical school.
They had a program in school where they could go to technical school as part of their correct school schedule. They took their academics half of the afternoon and spent the other half in their chosen technical course. My kid brought apartment a schedule of classes they gave and she and her father sat down and went over all of the gave classes. When our kid chose Heating and Air Conditioning, my hubby was a bit unsure of her choice. She was afraid that she would be putting several years into a heating, ventilation and air conditioning course and yet she would still need to go to classes after graduation, to get her certification. When they had the orientation for the technical school, my hubby and I went with our kid. Both of us had our own questions to ask of the instructors. By the time both of us were done, my hubby knew that our kid was making a wise choice. Heating and Air Conditioning was a class that she had to take for her several years of school. When she graduated from school, as long as her grades were good, she would graduate with a certification in heating and A/C. She would be able to get her certificate and go right into an apprentice program with a single of the local Heating and Air Conditioning companies. That was almost fifteen years ago. My kid now has her own Heating and Air Conditioning dealer and she is a single of the top Heating and Air Conditioning specialists in our state.
