I just got my Christmas bonus, which was an extra $500 in my pocket.
That $500 is insanely helpful, because I have been going through my money really quickly.
I am currently in the middle of upgrading several parts of my house, a lot of which are expensive. Then, an unexpected HVAC repair was in order, since my A/C apparently was suffering without my knowledge. Heating and cooling repairs are a lot more expensive than I thought, and it took away most of my money. The rest I was saving for groceries. At least I can now say that my air conditioning system is completely brand new and I shouldn’t have any issues with it for a long time. This is also good, because I have been thinking about renting out my home as it is. With all of the upgrades, and the fact that I will be keeping it fully furnished will put it at a nice price. I will still have to wait until my next paycheck, before I can finish upgrading the rest of my home, so I think for now I will be focusing on other important stuff instead. Some of the other stuff I have been meaning to focus on are finally getting around to starting my own vegetable garden, trying out wood carving and maybe helping a nearby animal shelter. I think I will first start with the garden and put my new HVAC device to use, because I am sure after gardening, I am going to be sweaty and hot. This will give me a chance to test out the HVAC machine, so it works out.
