I am so glad that the Summer is finally coming to an end.
- I like the Summer, but I must confess that at times it gets to be too much for me.
I savor spending time outside and in nature, however the Summers have been too tepid for that, now that it’s cooling down, I get to savor the outdoors more. And I am enthusiastic to say that I just planned my first nature trip for the fall. One of my number one things to do is to take pictures of the fall foliage, and in my state, the season will peak around late October, so, I have booked a camping trip for that time. I found the perfect little lodge in the middle of a heavily forested area. Well, it’s not a lodge in the traditional sense, it’s unquestionably a temperature controlled geodesic dome tent. I was shocked to see that this tent had all the modern luxuries. It has a full powder room with a shower, a kitchenette, a king size bed, and it has a bay window for stargazing. And of course, the best section is that it has a heating and cooling system. This is wonderful because it’s not an easy task to heat or cool a tent. While camping, I have met people who have rigged portable cooling systems to their tents, but I am yet to do that. I like to just rent something like the dome tent especially with all the risks that come with retrofitting and cooling system to a tent. Anyway, I am looking forward to this trip and I am also super enthusiastic about staying in this air conditioned dome tent.
