If there is 1 single thing I can’t stand for, it is someone who will not shut up. I have had people come into my current home under the guise of doing work, then they try to upsell me on something else entirely. When I call any kind of repairman, I just want the repair done. I don’t want them to debate with me about how I should do more updates, or even update the item when they have already made the repair. The guy who worked on my refrigerator was adamant about my buying a current refrigerator, plus he came right out to tell me he was now a corporation for a popular brand. I told him he had to leave, plus that was 10 years ago. I am still using the same refrigerator. Last week, I needed to call the Heating & A/C corporation. I had a complication with the a/c unit. I was so sure that it was just low on coolant. I hadn’t had the a/c component worked on since last year. The wicked Summer heat came up so swiftly that I didn’t have time to call the Heating & A/C corporation to do an inspection on the A/C unit. I asked the Heating & A/C corporation to do the inspection on the A/C component plus I mentioned the low coolant. The inspection took under an hour, plus the Heating & A/C tech added more coolant. He then sat in my front room trying to sell me on a current A/C unit. I told him mine was just many years old plus I had no desire for purchasing a current a single. He kept talking about the importance of upgrading my Heating & A/C systems so I always had the most efficient unit. I finally told him that if he didn’t get out of my house immediately, I was going to call the cops.
