I cannot honestly believe how fancy camper and RV heating machines are, and it is outrageous.
I could almost get a new furnace for my residence for the price that a lot of camper heating machines run.
I looked into getting a used camper furnace, and it was not that much cheaper. I thought that I would have to just sell my camper because I could not even afford to buy a new furnace for it. It would not be a substantial deal if I did not camp during the cooler seasons of the year, although I do. The warm season is actually the busiest time for me at work, so I can’t just take time off from the office to camp during the warm season months. I usually take my camping trips near the end of August or the start of October. It is pretty freezing around here during that time of year, so I need to have heat in my camper in order to care about my camping experience. I had been using a propane area furnace for many years, but that was getting very old! A neighbor of mine gave me an aged camper furnace that he had, and I easily accepted. I had to do some work, although I ended up making it work great for my camper. It does use some propane, so I have to make sure that I have propane tanks filled still, but it doesn’t use it nearly as fast. I am so ecstatic to finally have a furnace in my camper again. It is so fantastic not to have to agonize about how I am going to heat my camper.
