We just got done having the worst snow blizzard in years. But for me during this time I was nice and comfortable with the best indoor comfort. It was not from just having a great heater within my central heating and air conditioning system, but it was the fact that I had my fireplace burning the whole time during the waking hours. I have not just any fireplace, but a real fireplace. Not one of those electric fake fireplaces or gas fireplaces. This is a real fireplace with chimney and firewood and all. Having this great original fireplace in my home is not something I take for granted. It was sheer luck I was able to buy an older home that had a real fireplace because today’s homes do not have authentic fireplaces. At least not in the state in which I live in. So this really came in handy during the snow blizzard we just had. It made for the best indoor comfort and made me feel great. I actually at times did not even have to use the heating on my central heat and a/c unit. I would just burn the fireplace and give the central heating and air conditioning system unit a rest. Not only did this make the heat from the fireplace feel better and more authentic, but it also saved me a bit of money on my energy bills for the month. If it was not for this great authentic fireplace that I have I am not sure I would have had the same indoor comfort to be honest.
