Keeping my home gym clean

For me, the pandemic was a scary time. I suffer from respiratory issues. Even as a young boy, I would deal with allergy and asthma attacks. When the pollen count was high in the summer, I’d have difficulty breathing. Any type of airborne bacteria, virus or particulate is incredibly harmful to me. This means that I never spend much time outdoors. Since COVID hit, I am more prone to remain at home than before. I am worried that will never change. Since going to the gym is not an option for me, I needed to figure out another way to keep in good physical shape. I have renovated the upstairs spare bedroom of my house into a personal gym. It is a comfortable and clean space where I can workout whenever and for as long as I want. My house includes an in-duct air purification system that reaches every room in the house. It works to trap contaminants, prevent the buildup of moisture in the air and kill pathogens. Because the air in my home gym is effectively sanitized, I’m able to breathe deeper. I don’t feel congested or suffer from headaches, sore throat, itchy eyes or frequent sneezing. I’m able to fully exert myself and get my lungs and heart working. I am conscientious about vacuuming, cleaning and disinfecting the equipment in the gym. I have invested into a treadmill, stationary bike, weight bench and free weights. I am currently saving up for an elliptical. I’m fortunate to have a lot of square footage available. I plan to keep adding to my inventory of equipment.
