I really hate having to use the heater in my car in the winter.
Do not get me wrong, it works really well and will keep me warm while taking long drives in cold weather, but it smells! When I turn it on the heater always smells like dirty socks.
I hate it! I ended up taking my car into the auto mechanic and complained about this and I was told that it was nothing abnormal and was just the older car that I have. Because of this I decided to invest in a brand new and up to date heating and air conditioning system for my car in hopes that it would change things. And I was so lucky I did. Because today’s heating and air conditioning for cars fixed the issue of the heating smelling like dirty socks. I guess it was just the way the old heaters for cars were made and that it was the only way to get quality heating. Who knows. But I am just glad that my car’s heater doesn’t smell anymore after investing into the brand new and up to date heating and air conditioning system. It cost a bit of money, but nothing close to getting a new central heating and air conditioning system for your home! If it was that pricey I would not have been able to afford to get the heating and air conditioning replaced in my old car. I actually like having this old car, so I am glad that the modern heating and air conditioning systems for cars was compatible and able to have been put into the old car of mine.
