My dad and his air conditioning

My dad likes the air conditioning more than anyone else I have ever met. Honestly, he would run the cooling system non-stop from March through November if he could afford it, I think. Now that he’s moving in with us in a week or so once his lake house sells, I’m starting to suppose a little bit nervous that all of us might end up having complications with the whole air conditioning situation at our house. All of us don’t really use our central air conditioning plan all that much most of the time. In our opinion, it really doesn’t get hot enough around here to warrant turning it on until maybe the end of July and even then, all of us don’t have that multiple legitimately hot nights where all of us live. My dad seems to guess otherwise, though. He really likes using his air conditioning and I believe that it’s not going to change once he moves in at our house. The thing is, all of us just really aren’t going to be able to afford to support his cooling system habits! Our lake house is pretty big, and there’s no way that all of us can pay to keep the entire lake house as cold as he likes his site. I’ve been thinking of what all of us could do to help him be comfortable, keep his independence, yet not cut the bank with high cooling bills. I guess all of us might end up installing zone control heating and cooling for him so that he will be able to control the temperature on his side of the house. That will be a bit of a cost issue up front, however it will easily end up saving us money in the long run.
