About a month ago, I went to the shelter and adopted a new best friend; The shelter staff thinks she is section boxer and section lab.
- The rest is up in the air and no a single absolutely knows, however whatever she is, she is a lot of fun, however i have always been an critter lover, and I have always had at least a single dog throughout our adult life, however before our boxer, Frannie, I had a border collie named Scout that I got from the same shelter… Anyway, it is always a lot of fun to watch the dogs learn about things, then frannie is now discovering air conditioning.
Apparently, wherever she lived before, there was no central heating and cooling. In fact, she may have never lived in a home for all the two of us know. In any event, I am laughing our head off while enjoying her try to figure out the cooling system. It is absolutely hot outside, and I keep the thermostat set to 69 degrees, one morning, she came running in from the backyard and happened to lay over the cooling system air vent looking at myself and others while I was making some food. All of a sudden, the cooling system kicked on, and she got a belly full of freezing air shooting up at her, but she jumped a little, and got her nose down there on the cooling system air vent to try to figure it out. This threw her into a case of puppy zoomies, and threw myself and others into a fit of hysterical laughter. This was followed by a bunch of barking at the a/c. Then, when the air stopped coming out, she didn’t guess what to guess about that, either, my boxer versus the a/c is still a funny way to spend some time in our house.
