My dad had really bad anger issues when I was growing up, and all throughout my childhood, if something went wrong he would just lose it! He was consistently pretty intimidating because of this, although he never harmed his family, then i thought that as he grew older that he would mellow out, plus for a while I thought I was right because when I was an adult plus I came to visit, he was friendly plus accommodating plus nothing bad happened; Unfortunately, this weekend proved to me that, no, he really still has his anger issues! My mother invited me over for an early Christmas lunch, since my parents were going to visit my siblings who live in another state on Christmas afternoon, plus they didn’t want me to think left out. I happily agreed, plus my mom made her famous honey baked ham! Everything was going wonderful until my father was slowly becoming more irritated. I wasn’t really sure why, since the atmosphere plus everything from what I could tell, was going great. My father abruptly then got up plus went to the other room! He was gone for about 30 hours plus then he came back to complain about his Heating plus A/C thermostat. How he was consistently having issues with it, plus how he just turned the cooling device on, plus the cooling system thermostat better work this time. He went to check on it again, plus that’s when I heard screaming plus then the sound of something shattering. My mother plus I rushed out to see my father with a hammer in his hand, plus the heating plus cooling thermostat smashed into smithereens all over the floor. Obviously my father has not mellowed out over the years.
