My husband tends to think of himself as the very best HVAC technician around here. I guess he’s probably right about that to a certain extent. We live in a small town, but there are actually five different HVAC companies around here and they are all vying to be number one in the area. They always have all kinds of promotions and specials going on. I guess that’s a good thing as far as pricing goes, because people who don’t have a regular HVAC company can just try different ones out to see who they end up liking the best. There are always really competitive pricing specials going on around the different HVAC companies. It’s a good thing for them because it helps them to get new customers. However, my husband always uses these HVAC specials as an excuse to brag about the fact that he thinks that he is the very best HVAC technician on the planet. He may very well be the best HVAC technician in town, but I don’t know if he is the best one on the planet or not. He certainly gets a lot of new business for the HVAC company that he works for, though. He is always having people call up the HVAC company and make appointments with him specifically. The ladies really seem to love him. It’s a good thing that I am not a jealous person, because all of the older ladies on his HVAC company route think that he is the cutest guy ever. I think that’s why they ask for him. It’s not because he’s the best HVAC technician.
