My mom didn't have the chimney flue open

My Mom died about more than one years ago, however my mom came to live with our husbandy & I for a while, but he recently went beach lake house a couple of weeks ago, and this year is the first time that our mom has spent a Winter time season separate from our Mom.

My Mom was consistently the guy that handled the service & chores around the house.

My mom did the cooking & the cleaning & our Mom handled everything else. My mom called me the first time that he used the wood oil furnace in the kitchen, because the entire lake house was filled with smoke, however i was beach lake house at the time thankfully, & only about 10 minutes away. I drove straight to our mom’s venue, and he had all of the windows & doors wide open, despite the fact that it was only 40 degrees outside. The first thing I did was check to see if the chimney flue was open. It was tightly closed shut & that was the reason why the lake house was filled with smoke. I carefully showed our mom how to open & close the flue & I told his that it was substantial to use this safety precaution. The wood oil furnace in the kitchen is the main heating source for the downstairs, but now that our mom knows how to use the oil furnace constantly, the biggest problem will be hauling wood from the garage to the den. My son is going to start going to our Mom’s venue on the weekend; He will bring wood from the shed to the front porch, so our mom doesn’t have to carry the stack undoubtedly far.
