Changing work midlife in your middle age is an different feeling, and but my uncle did it. After 3 decades of toiling in car sales my uncle got fed up with it and wanted to pursue something more interesting. He chose going back to school to get his certification to become a heating & a/c professional. My uncle had a slight interest in HVAC since he was a kid but when getting out of college, he went the car sales route. Now, years later, he wants to do the heating & a/c repairs. My uncle passed his course and ended up getting his Heating & A/C certification. He now works for a local heating & a/c company and is doing really well. My uncle learned the ropes of heating and a/c service in no time at all. The schooling was pretty easy to follow. It was just strange being the oldest dude in the class. It almost felt like sort of a joke in some ways. But, things worked out for the best. My uncle is happier here being a heating & a/c professional and loves his new job. He’s also making a little more money than he did selling cars. You would assume it would be the other way around, but it isn’t. HVAC servicing is what has been in his best interest and my uncle just didn’t realize it till half way through life in his middle age. Well, as the saying goes, it’s better late than never!
