New Window AC Unit for Apartment

When I found the perfect apartment, I put in an application right away and waited by the phone to hear back from the owner.

I only waited a few hours, but it felt like an eternity. I had been searching for an apartment for weeks and I hadn’t been able to secure a lease with any of them. Not to mention, it was gruesome work trying to find an apartment within my budget in the location I wanted. When I finally found my current apartment and it was in a fantastic location with everything I needed, I jumped at the opportunity. I was thrilled to get accepted and finally move my belongings in. After speaking with the landlord, he told me that he was flexible with paint changes and design choices, but I had to get it approved by him first. I didn’t have any plans on changing the paint color or updating any of the features, except the window AC unit. The apartment came with an old, faded AC unit that I knew wasn’t going to run efficiently. After getting the approval from my landlord, I purchased a brand new window AC unit that was known for running quietly and efficiently. It cost me a couple hundred dollars, but I knew that it would be worth it in the long run. I would be paying for my energy consumption each month so I didn’t want to be running an inefficient window AC unit. When it’s time to move out, I can always bring the window AC unit with me.
