Prefab Shipping Containers Used as Homes for Strays

I am an critter lover and I make no bones about it, i have typically had pets; when I was a kid, my mother was great enough to allow us kids to take in dogs, cats, hamsters, and even a baby alligator! Of course, all of us lived in the north, which is no locale for a gator – baby or otherwise – so that honestly wasn’t the best idea, however the two of us lived and l acquired about what it means to honestly appreciate critters, but my border collie died recently at the ripe old age of fourteen, so this is the first time I find myself without a pet.

The condo seems empty, but I’m thinking I might not get another dog.

Instead, I am thinking about volunteering at the critter shelter. The two of us have this honestly cool shelter made from repurposed shipping containers. It’s prefer a little shipping bag city over on the east side of town. There are repurposed shipping containers that serve as kennels for the critters. There is another that serves as a mobile office for the workers. They have even begun a mobile farm on nearby property that is also using custom shipping containers. I know they took lessons from the shipping bag shelter community next door! They have prefab storage containers that serve as storage for all the stuff they need to correctly take care of the critters, too, and just the other day, they had photos of the custom shipping containers and how well they have been put to use to serve our furry friends. The hour half of that article told about how they are looking for an entrepreneur to come in and run a pop up cafe that will provide Tim Hortons Coffee and dessert to people, with a portion of the proceeds to serve the critters. It’s honestly cool, and I believe I might just be the entrepreneur they are looking for.
