It is spring and most homeowners are preparing their HVAC units for summer.
This means that the HVAC companies are swamped with appointments.
Especially the last week of spring, it was close to impossible to get an appointment. I had been away most of the spring, we had gone on a trip with my husband, and had missed the chance to schedule an appointment with the a/c professionals. My multi-split air conditioning system was making unusual noises and it was not as efficient as it was. I really needed to have it checked before summer started. One night as I was taking out the trash, I struck up a conversation with my neighbor who was an air conditioning provider. I was glad to hear how much he knew about cooling systems and I requested him to look at my air conditioning unit. We scheduled an a/c care plan for the next afternoon. When he came over, he first checked the a/c install then headed over to the indoor air cleaning system to check the a/c filter which we found out was dirty and was blocking the free flow of air which was causing the unusual noises. He changed the cooling product which improved the air quality in the house. Since my neighbor had worked in the HVAC industry for a while, he knew a lot about these systems and that is why he was able to fix my issue. I also upgraded the cooling technology and changed the old climate control to the new and improved wireless thermostat. I was glad I did not have to queue up at the local business waiting to book an appointment with a three-week waiting period.
