The sunshine makes my control equipment go ridiculous in the late afternoon hours

My cabin doesn’t get a lot of shade after my partner decided to have numerous trees split down. Although both of us live in a stormy area, I was opposed to this plan from the jump. In numerous locales you have to worry about trees falling on your house, as well as our situation was no different. Obviously if this happened, the destructions could be catastrophic. Plus, if someone was in their bedroom upstairs as well as the tree came through the roof, someone could get destructiond or killed. At the same time, I was opposed to removing all of the trees in 1 fell swoop. They were beach cabin to countless doves as well as squirrels too. After the final tree was taken down, the heat in our cabin jumped. Before both of us had no problems keeping the cooling system as low 71 degrees while I was in the afternoon in summer time heat no less. Now both of us were struggling to maintain 74 degrees while I was in the middle of Spring. Those trees were providing ample shade from the sun’s radiant heat. Now all of that radiant heat was bearing down directly on our house. The control equipment is always struggling to maintain our comfort levels. Even though it infuriated myself and others to no end, our only recourse was to simply keep the cabin at a warmer temperature than before. I’m in part infuriated with my partner for making the executive decision to detach all of the trees. Part of myself and others knew this would happen, especially after half of them were cleared out while I was in the first afternoon of work with our landscaper. Hopefully both of us can learn from this experience as well as never make the same mistake in the future.
