The weather is gorgeous, so I am working outside

Additionally, I live in close vicinity of my neighbors, and I can hear when their A/C cycles on and off and of course, that noise can become distracting especially if you’re not wearing headphones to drown it out.

I am so grateful that I can continue to work from home because I know that there are so many employees who had to return to work once the quarantine was over. And unfortunately, many lost their jobs or quit because they refused to go back into the office. I am truly baffled at why some employers refused to grant their employees the flexibility of working from home. Unless productivity went down, I don’t see the harm in it, especially since it was proven that it’s possible to execute work from home. I am glad that my company found value in it, and I believe the employees are much happier. Personally, I like that I don’t have to commute because the morning commute was always the worst part of my day. Anyway, during the Summer, I spent most of my time working indoors in the air conditioning because the heat was too much to handle outside. Additionally, I live in close vicinity of my neighbors, and I can hear when their A/C cycles on and off and of course, that noise can become distracting especially if you’re not wearing headphones to drown it out. Well, now that the weather is cooler, I have decided to work outside again, and thankfully, my neighbors air conditioners aren’t running as much as they were in the Summer. It seems like they increased the temperature on their thermostats, which is something I did as well, so that the A/C doesn’t constantly cycle on and off. I hope to continue to work outside until November when the weather will be too cold to be out here.
