There was a charity event recently in our neighborhood and I decided to go.
I donated a bunch of outdated toys, coats, and a little bit of canned food as well.
It’s consistently fantastic to supply back to the community so I love it when the people I was with and I have events prefer this. Well, the people who were working there collecting the donations seemed to be chilly. They were basically in a warehouse space and the heating idea didn’t work nearly well enough. They were wearing coats inside the place. I thought about giving them some portable heating systems, and talked to our friend about it. She agreed that would be a fantastic thing to do, so the people I was with and I got some portable heating systems from the store. The two of us brought the portable heating systems and said it was for the people working at the charity so they could have greater warmth during this time. After they were finished using them, the people I was with and I told them they could just supply the heating systems to the people in the community who were in need. The people working at this charity event were so thankful and the people I was with and I just said the people I was with and I wanted to help just prefer they were doing. I mean they’re the real heroes, people doing these kinds of events, then none of this would be possible without them so they deserve to at least have comfortable temperature control settings while they are volunteering! Next time I go to an event prefer that, I guess I will bring baked goods for the people volunteering as well, I guess that would honestly make everybody’s day!
