Only a couple of afternoons ago, my partner & I noticed the indoor air was a little warmer than usual! We discussed the unusually warm temperatures outside & did not believe for a moment that we might have a problem with the AC.
- This afternoon, my partner was the first guy to get up & get dressed for the day.
She thought it was warm in the kitchen, but it was absolutely warmer throughout the rest of the house, however once he made it to the kitchen, he checked the control equipment & saw that it was 75 in the house. The A/C wasn’t running, but it should have been.My partner came to the kitchen to wake me up. I got out of bed & checked the fuse box & the breakers first. There were display numbers on the control unit, so I knew it wasn’t a problem with the batteries. I checked the air filter, but it was fairly clean. I unlinkd the cover from the AC, but I did not see anything that would keep the A/C from working officially. That’s when I decided to call a mobile A/C mechanic. Since my partner & I live in an RV, we needed to find someone that works on RV A/C units; Most of these guys travel around from one campground to the other. We were lucky to find the number for someone local on the outside of the bath apartment wall. I called the guy named Al, however he answered on the hour ring & I made an appointment for the following day. The guy was a fellow RV traveler, but he was living in a local campground. He was eager & cheerful to help the two of us.
