A New AC System Before Summer

Before I moved into this house, I knew that my air conditioner would need to be replaced.

The summer heat and humidity levels were really intense in this region, so having an old air conditioning system wasn’t ideal. Thankfully, I was able to negotiate the price of the house I bought so that I could spend extra money on a brand new HVAC system. When the home inspection came back, it noted that the furnace was 12 years old and the air conditioner was 15 years old! The house was old, so I assumed the HVAC system would be outdated, but I didn’t think that everything would be over a decade old. To my surprise, both the furnace and air conditioner still worked. This didn’t mean that I had to keep them though. After hiring an HVAC company to come service the HVAC system upon moving in, the HVAC professional agreed that I needed to find a replacement. Not only was the AC system over a decade old, but it was also inefficient. As I said before, the summertime heat and humidity is incense, so I needed something that was cost effective to run. The best part about owning a new AC system was how efficient, quiet, and convenient they were to run. I had no problem picking out a brand new, state of the art AC system with the HVAC professional and I was excited to have him install it for me. There’s no summer heat or humidity level that my new AC system can’t manage now.
