Recently, my wife and I went on a nice vacation to the tropics.
The weather was so hot, but the place was absolutely beautiful.
We were able to relax on the beach with our island drinks and we had such a lovely time. The thing that was really comforting was the advanced HVAC system in our hotel room. We had access to the smart thermostat, so we were easily able to adjust the room temperature from wherever we happened to be. It was nice to make sure the A/C was at just the right level before heading back to the room. Sometimes it would be a little too cool because the A/C system worked so great, so we would simply adjust the temperature control by a few degrees to feel nice and comfortable. They had the nicest room service ever, and we enjoyed some really wonderful food that we have never tried before. My wife is big into seafood, which I am not a fan. When she ordered a bunch of seafood, I thought it made the whole room smell really awful. I was glad that there was an air purifier in the room which was able to get rid of the horrid smell of seafood. After that, I told my wife she could either order her seafood at the bar, or none at all. There was no way I was going to deal with that smell anymore on this wonderful vacation. I definitely didn’t want to feel sick at all. It was difficult to leave in the end, but there’s no place like home.
