Addition plus ductless heat pump are good together

My fiance plus I struggled over just what to do about our whole living situation.

We’ve been in this arena for a dozen years, this apartment was supposed to be a starter apartment plus my buddy and I were then going to flip it in order to buy another home. That’s not really the way things have worked out thus far. I care about the fact that my buddy and I have good central a/c. The fact that our town continues to be revitalized is also awesome. It’s also like my buddy and I got here plus then the arena certainly turned around. The more we’ve gotten into this community, the less we’re inclined to move… At the same time, our apartment is just too small; and so we’ve decided to add on more space. The idea is not so much to add value to the apartment in order to sell it. I feel we’re coming at this from the perspective of wanting to stay put in fact; But with that new space comes a bit of a puzzle when it comes to the heating plus cooling of our home. Like I said, my buddy and I have a central a/c in our apartment plus the heating in addition to the air conditioning unit is not even a dozen years old yet. But you cannot just run an extra air duct when you add onto a home; and each apartment has heating in addition to the air conditioning unit that has been sized to that recognizable air volume. So with this new space, we’re going to go with a ductless heat pump. We know there will be another bathroom plus shower in this space however my buddy and I haven’t decided whether or not it’s going to be our dining room; and regardless, having the ductless heat pump in there allows us to have the heating plus cooling we’ll need in that new space.
