I’m in charge of locating the new space, and I only have one week left before my deadline.
I’ve been working in collaboration with several realtors in Lockport, NY, but I still haven’t found the ideal commercial space for rent. So far, I’ve looked at an old Insurance Company, a bankrupt car dealership, and several office buildings that were simply too cramped or too rundown. I’ve been specific with the realtor about our requirements. We need a space big enough to accomodate 200 employees. The commercial space in Lockport, NY needs to offer sufficient parking. The parking lot is one of the greatest concerns, because a lot of people around here utilize public transportation. Unfortunately, we are stuck moving our offices about 30 miles away. Most of our employees will now need to drive to work. Parking is going to be a major concern, especially with a commercial office building located in the city. There are a couple of properties I plan to view this week. One of them is an abandoned daycare center. It’s quite big for a daycare center, but might be right for us. The building has several rooms large enough for conference rooms, and a lot of offices. Best of all, the building includes multiple acres of property. This commercial space would offer us plenty of space for parking. The property seems like it could be the right one for us. I have been hoping the realtor will eventually find a property to meet our needs. I’m a bit worried because there’s only a week left to the deadline.
