last summer when I was living on my own I decided to go on a two week long trip with my friends. I was visiting a region that was not very populated and did not have much cell service. About halfway through the trip I remembered that I had left my AC on in my house. I thought about it a lot and I knew that it was going to be hot back we are home home where I lived. I decided to not worry about it on the trip. There was nothing I thought I could do. When I did have access to Wi-Fi I went to the café and called my neighbor. My neighbor informed me that she could hear my AC running and I told her where the spare key was to my house.She was able to get into my house and turn the AC off before it caused too much damage to my energy bill. I did notice a spike in my energy bill that month but it wasn’t that much. I was happy that I was able to contact my neighbor and she could turn off my AC while I was out of town. It is always a good idea to keep a spare key somewhere safe so that you can contact your neighbors if you are in the situation.I was happy she was able to turn off the AC for me.
