The other day when I was talking to my friend on the beach telling her how anxious I was about things that happened in my life she told me something that created a shift in me. She told me all of this that we see in front of us is just an illusion, almost like a realistic virtual reality game of sorts, and that my friend and I don’t need to be so attached to the storyline of it all. It made me realize that I don’t need to suffer from what I see in front of me, however just notice it instead! HVAC unit breaking down during a hot day can seem like more than an illusion to most, especially if your air conditioning system stops on a 100F day, however if my friend and I can zoom out and look at it from an observer’s standpoint we may not be so negatively impacted by it, sure, it isn’t fun to be covered in sweat in a flat on a hot day, however with a little patience and a zoomed out perspective my pal and I may get through it in a more graceful manner. I would like to write a book on HVAC repair and service, and another book on life and how I see it through my lens. I’m just hoping that I can help ease the pain of people going through similar things as I. My air conditioning system unit breaking down was just temporary, as this charming HVAC tech was able to get out that day and fix it. And making a date with that pretty HVAC tech was a sign telling me that the illusion is not always what it seems.
