I’m looking to do just about anything I can to lighten my load.
- This is something that has been overdue for years.
But now, my health hangs in the balance which is a whole other paradigm. There is no question that the stress I’m under each afternoon inside the commercial HVAC of the office has an affect on my health. But what am I going to do, quit my job? That’s not going to happen with one child in university and two more set to leave the central a/c of my home. No, punting my career isn’t exactly an option. So I had to address everything else in my life along with changes to my lifestyle. These afternoons, I’m coming home from the office and not just opting for the couch and the a/c. Instead, I get out of the a/c and head out for a walk each evening. This has made a difference in my head and my body. Being less sedentary is a big goal of mine. I’m even sitting at my desk while I’m working inside the commercial HVAC of my office. But I’m also looking to reduce the amount of things that I need to be on top of. Joining the HVAC service plan has helped in a big way. No longer am I stressing over the HVAC equipment. The HVAC device is now in great hands and is getting all the HVAC repair it needs without me having to deal with it. That seems like a small thing to take off my plate however every little bit counts.
