At the beginning of last week, I had to go to the grocery store and there was a guy in line behind me that kept coughing on his hands.
The guy should have been at home.
The government should not have lifted the mandate for indoor air purifiers. I remember thinking that I wish I was wearing a mask at the time. I used some hand sanitizer in the car, but a couple of days later I was still sick. I have been sick since then with lots of different aches and pains. I have had a runny nose, the chills, a sore throat and diarrhea. I had to call my boss and stay home from work on Friday and Saturday. Sunday was my day off and I was still feeling under the weather. My sister called me to see if I would come look at her furnace. I’ve been telling my sister for a year that she has to replace the furnace. It hasn’t been working very well and I have repaired the furnace a couple of times. I told my sister that I was too sick to come look at the furnace. I did not want to drive 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back to give my sister the same exact advice that I do every time. After I told my sister that I was not going to help, she must have called my mom. My mom called me about 10 minutes later and she begged me to help my sister because she didn’t have any money to pay a furnace repair company.
