My boss sends me out of town often, because I am one of the only people that works for the company that does not have a girlfriend, boyfriend, or significant other.

I certainly can’t meet anyone new if I spend half of my time working on the weekends. The last time I went to a seminar, I was away for 5 days and the entire experience made me want to quit my job. I landed at the airport and they lost my luggage. I had to wait 30 minutes for an uber, because of the location of the hotel. When I checked into the room, I didn’t have the ocean view that I wanted or paid for. The upgrade was about $50 more for the company. I went downstairs to talk to the desk clerk and the guy was rude and discourteous. He wasn’t interested in helping me at all. I was frustrated and angry, so I went to a different hotel in the same area and I put the entire 5-day purchase on my credit card. The room had a view of the ocean and a bar in the room. I also had a ductless mini split heating and air conditioning system so I could set the temperature exactly where I wanted. I had the air conditioner running most of the time during the day, but the breeze from the ocean was nice at night with the windows open and the air conditioner off.
