About 8 weeks ago, my toddler plus I moved into the home where the two of us currently live.
On the afternoon that the two of us moved into the house, the building owner gave us a key for the mailbox. It was a loose key plus it was not fastened to a key ring. I set the key down on a table by the entryway. A few days later I went to retrieve the key so I could check my new mailbox. I could not find the key anywhere on the table or on the floor. I thought legitimately hard to make sure that I easily put the key on that table. I had a pretty nice memory of setting it down. I asked my toddler if she saw the key. She just smiled. I don’t even recognize if she understood what I was saying. Skip forward 8 weeks to today when I had a full Heating, Ventilation plus A/C tune-up on the heat pump plus air conditioning unit. During the full service tune-up, the repair business unfastend the air vents plus the intake vents to wash the areas inside. When the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C repair business unfastend the intake vent by the entryway, she found a small silver key. She asked if the key belonged to me plus I recognized it instantly. Of course it was the key that my building owner gave to me on the afternoon that the two of us moved into the house. My toddler must have picked it up plus deposited it into the vent. She could not answer my questions or tell me what happened to the key. I am happy the mystery has finally been solved.
