For a long time, I made fun of people for changing their air filters regularly.
- I always said that you could stretch some of those air filters to 6 months at least.
Well, it wasn’t long before I was dealing with horrible air quality in my apartment. My buddies told me the answer was obvious, and I really just had to change my air filters regularly and use better quality ones. It took me forever to concede and admit that they were correct. I did have terrible air quality and my idea of using air filters for much longer was a foolish notion. I eventually had my ductwork cleaned and used high quality air filters. I changed them on time like I was supposed to, even though it was not easy for me at first. Of course, with the regular air filter changes came naturally improved air quality in my home. Suddenly, nobody minded hanging out at my place and I realized that it was the poor air quality in my apartment that bothered my friends so much. Now that my air quality is amazing, even my parents are coming to visit me more often. I honestly feel foolish for not following the directions of the air filters. I’m even trying to save up more money right now so I can invest in better air filters like HEPA filters to see if that makes things even better. I want to experiment a little bit to see what works best for me. I would like to see if my friends and family even notice that I’m using HEPA filters.
