It’s sad to think about our dog getting so old now. I remember when we first got him, he was just this little tiny pup. We still have pictures of course from when he was that small and we named our dog ‘Blu’ because of his tinted bluish hair. So he’s becoming old and he’s more hard of hearing these days. It’s crazy to see him in this condition, especially when you remember how energetic he always was throughout his life. There were countless times when I was chasing this dog around the neighborhood because he would jump the fence and get out of the yard. He was a cool dog though and it seemed he enjoyed the air conditioning as much as we did. We didn’t even have the best air conditioning back then because we had to depend on window AC units. Still, he would typically rest in the area in front of the window AC unit so he could feel the relaxing breeze of the air conditioning. We even had a dining table set up next to one of the window AC units and he liked to relax in the chair that was nearest to the air conditioning. When we moved to a new place where we had central heating and cooling, he would relax next to many of the HVAC vents. These days, we have our own home and we have a ductless multi-split system. Our dog still enjoys resting nearby when the cooling system is working, so he’s never changed too much. It’s just that we suspect that his vision is going, and whenever we are calling him, it seems he doesn’t hear us unless we shout louder. It will be sad when he eventually leaves this world, but we’ll always remember how cool our dog ‘Blu’ was.
