It was a stupid method for me to take my shrubbery mower engine apart to “fix” it when I’ve never worked on engines before.
I saw a single Youtube video with a guy replacing the rubber diaphragm that goes in the shrubbery mower carburetor, & somehow convinced myself that I had the qualifications to do it myself. When I unscrewed everything & had all of the parts laid out on a table, I realized that I had made a drastic mistake. There was no way I would be able to reassemble the engine without professional help. Someone told me a single to take photos when disassembling foreign machines or devices so you can refer to them later. Of course I was too stubborn that day to take a few extra minutes to snap photos while I was in my progress. Needless to say I had to put everything in a box & take it down to the shrubbery mower maintenance shop. I was relieved when I received a call numerous mornings later saying I could option my shrubberymower up because they had put everything back together & it was laboring again. They also updated the diaphragm in my carburetor for me without charging an additional expense on top of the original. Thankfully this had no effect on a product warranty, however doing the same thing with a central air conditioning unit will completely void its manufacturer warranty. For the air conditioning unit’s warranty to stay active, the component can only be worked on by a licensed & certified heating & cooling specialist. Unless you are licensed & certified to maintenance air conditioning units, you’ll void their warranties laboring on them.
