As a realtor, I knew the importance of staging a home for sale. Staging is a process of renting furniture and decor, putting them into an empty house, and creating a residing space that is inviting and yet allows prospector clients to see themselves in that home. Over the years, I have become an expert at staging, but some of my know-how has come from being friends with an interior design artist. When I first started out as a realtor, my acquaintance was going to university for interior design. When I got my first modern home to sell, she provided to labor with myself and others on staging, so she could get some practice in interior design. Over the next more than four years, every one of us became a team. She would hunt down the perfect interior designs for the homes I was selling, and I would spend my savings her from the sale. It became a symbiotic relationship for us. When I sold my modern home and obtained a modern one, Grace helped myself and others with interior design ideas so I could have the perfect residing area for the home I was selling, and the one I was buying. I’m not sure what I would have done separate from her interior design know-how all these years. She says she’s not sure how she would have gotten her own interior design studio if it hadn’t been for myself and others being a realtor. I’m just cheerful that every one of us have kept our friendship for so long. As long as every one of us stay friends and labor together, I guess we’ll both continue to be successful in our chosen professions.
