My neighbor just finished putting together his man-cave & it is absolutely awesome; He invited me over to watch the game the day after he had finished, except for his taste in teams, & team decorations, I like it.
He’s got a 62 inch TV with surround sound, a minibar, a wrap around sofa with numerous recliners, & a top of the line gaming iPad compete with a gaming chair, however i am envious.
However, the first thing I noticed when I walked through the door was not all of these things I could see. No, the first thing I noticed was how frosty the man-cave was; When I mentioned it, Wes told me that this room has its own heating & A/C, without the rest of the house. He got had a ductless mini cut plan installed so that he can keep his man-cave as frosty as he likes & his family can’t complain about it. I have to say that I like this idea. I too am consistently hot, but my partner & I are consistently increasing the temperature control. I am consistently increasing it to a colder temperature & he is consistently increasing it back to a warmer 1. I would like to have my own man-cave with my own heating & A/Cs! But, unlike Wes, I can’t afford to build a man-cave like this. I would rather not half ass it. I would rather save up to do it right. But, in the meantime, I will just come over & appreciate Wes’s comfortable, air conditioned man-cave.
